The project transforms the temporary Rail Baltica platform into a public space inspired by movement, flow, and connection. The pathways are based on the branching patterns of the Daugava River, separating and reconnecting before merging toward the water.
A lightweight canopy structure creates changing light, shadows, and perspectives while framing views toward the city and river. The landscape becomes greener toward the city side and more open toward the water, encouraging visitors to slow down, explore, gather, and experience the platform as part of a continuous journey rather than simply a destination.
