This project proposes transforming an unfinished bridge structure over the Daugava River in central Riga into a contemporary, multifunctional public space where movement, relaxation, and nature merge into a unified urban experience.

The spatial composition is developed as a terraced landscape integrated into the existing structure, creating a fluid transition from the water level to elevated viewpoints. The platforms function as seating, gathering areas, and spaces for public activities.

Green infrastructure softens the industrial character, introducing a seasonally dynamic landscape. The space accommodates diverse user needs—from active movement to quiet relaxation and social interaction—complemented by a covered public zone beneath the platforms, suitable for a café, exhibition gallery, or other community functions.

The project establishes a new urban vantage point, offering unique perspectives of the Daugava River and the Riga skyline.
