The concept of “PIESTĀTNE” is the "Urban Anchor"—a stationary vessel in the middle of Riga’s constant flow. Named for the Latvian word for a ship’s stop, it transforms the historic bridge piers into a social harbor where the city’s movement meets the stillness of golf.
It is a landmark of intentional interruption, designed as a "brief pause" suspended over the Daugava. Here, the precision of the golf green and the casual warmth of the cafe coexist, offering a sanctuary where visitors can "dock" to recharge. “PIESTĀTNE” is a place to stop and stay, turning a moment of transit into a moment of presence between the water and the sky.
