The café is designed as a light wooden structure placed on one of the Rail Baltica piles, using a geometric form inspired by bridge trusses. This creates a strong connection with the surrounding infrastructure while keeping the space visually warm and inviting. Natural wood tones are chosen to soften the industrial context, making the café feel more human-centered and comfortable.
A bridge connects the café to a second pile, acting as both a functional link and an architectural feature. Its open truss design maintains visual continuity with the café and frames views of the water, creating a smooth and engaging transition between spaces.
At the end of the bridge, a relaxation area is designed as an open terrace with lounge seating. The space uses neutral colors and soft lighting to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Green plants are integrated throughout all elements—the café, bridge, and terrace—adding softness, enhancing the natural feeling, and visually tying the whole project together.
